Cheney Mansion Investigation 09/12/2009

Located on Hwy 67 in Jerseyville, IL, the Cheney mansion is a beautiful 19th Centruy post civil war home with a history of many paranormal activities.

Bob, Jim, and Justin loaded up and headed to Jerseyville for the night with uncertainty about the paranormal claims.

We hit all areas of the mansion including the slave tunnel, PD's bedroom and drunk room, as well as the old doctors office and childrens room.

This picture was taken on the first floor in what was used as a funeral parlor.  

In the upper right hand corner of the mirror appears to be some kind of image that we do not have an explanation

This is the entrance to where the slaves used to hide while traveling the Underground Railroad.  This hole in the wall was roughly 3' by 3' opening with a couple wood stumps as seats.  There have been multiple claims of different spiritual activity.  We had multiple  K-2 Meter hits, feeling of a presence, and caught a couple different

Go Home!!!!  :  This e.v.p. was caught in slave tunnel and it sounds to us like a voice saying go home.

These three pictures were taken on a Kodak EasyShare C875 with the multi shot on.  It takes 3 pictures in succession.  In the first two some type of mist or fog appears to be entering the left side of the frame.  The third has no evidence of this mist.  Along with the pictures, the EMF Meter is reading an abnormally high reading of 2.6.

These two pictures were taken in the Doctors office by the same camera mention in the prior post.   The first shows a clear picture with no distortions.  In the second, you can clearly see some sort of black mass distorting the pictuire of the same exact image.

These two pictures were taken immediately after the two previously posted.  You can see the entrance to this safe from the pictures of the Doctors Office.  Jim set the camera down and took 2 photos in succession on a timer.  There were some sort of orb formations captured around him.  This house was very well tooken care of with no dirt or dust being captured in over 350 other photos.  You be the judge.

Mineral Springs 05/30/09 Investigation Continued

As Bob and Jim were settled into the pool in complete darkness, a loud bang startled them both. We originally caught the sound on our audio recorders and tracked it down in the video. Upon further investigation, no objects were found in or around the pool that could have caused this loud bang to occur.

Mineral Springs 05/30/09 Investigation

SLAPS packed up and headed to Alton for the night. We investigated this Mineral Springs Hotel location and had quite a night. We captured alot of video and audio evidence regarding wierd occurrences. At one time, Bob and Jim were in the pool, sitting around a bucket. A loud bang startled them and was further revealed to have been some sort of bb or marble striking the bucket with great force. Upon video review nothing out of the ordinary happened at this time.

Mineral Springs Hotel 04/18/2009 Group Tour

We visited one of the most haunted places in Alton, IL named the Mineral Springs Hotel. We took a group tour with about 25 people around the old hotel learning about its history behind the hauntings. Along with a description of century old torture devices we toured the hallways and rooms haunted by Oscar and Jasmine. We also performed a seance in the pool haunted by little Cassandra. This picture was tooken of my cousin Angela and her daughter while standing next to a tank. If you look to the right you can see what appears to be an apparition trying to get into the picture.

03/07/09 Day after investigation.

So the investigation was very interesting. We learned alot about our equipment and different ways to optimize what we are working with. Four of us went to the house and went into the upstairs in pairs of two. One of the fully charged video cameras shut off out of nowhere as well as an old alarm clock going off in the middle of the hallway. In the dark, thats some scary stuff. We caught some good orbs in the master bedroom as well what appears to be some kind of facial shape in the window.

Frdiay 03/06/09 1st real investigation

On Friday night we will be investigating a house in Spanish Lake over a century old. With all of our equipment pretty much lined up and ready to go, this will be our first late night investigation. The house has been reported to be haunted for years with unexplained noises, objects moving by themselves, and even a reported apparition. We will have our 2 Sony Handy Cams with Infared night shot, two Kodak digital cameras, a sony digital audio recorder, and an emf detector. Wish us luck and if we find anything it will surely be posted on the website.
